Bridges<\/a>\u00a0Academy Developmental Screen<\/a>\u00a0 — Email your developmental screen to info@thetherapyplace.org<\/strong> or fax to:\u00a0 (803)787-0300.<\/p>\n It\u2019s official!!<\/p>\n Bridges Academy is opening this fall\u00a0at The Therapy Place!!<\/p>\n The Therapy Place, once again, is dedicated to meeting a community need within the midlands by expanding educational services beyond the current Bridges Preschool (age 2-6), by introducing the K-5 Bridges Academy.\u00a0The Bridges Academy will cater to the unique needs of children who are medically fragile, severely handicapped, physically challenged, and\/or cognitively delayed. Drawing inspiration from our current Bridges Preschool model at The Therapy Place, the school will provide an engaging learning experience while utilizing advanced technology and highly trained staff to create a safe and supportive learning environment for children of the midlands.<\/p>\n Bridges Academy will serve approximately 6 children in its first year and will be located at our current facility, 3620 Covenant Road.\u00a0Unfortunately, scholarships will not be available this first year.\u00a0Tuition for the year-round Briges Academy is $12,000 per year, which may be broken into monthly payments of $1,000.<\/p>\n Our goal is for the school to open by early September, 2024.<\/p>\n If you would like to apply, and your child is within grades K-5, please complete the developmental screen.\u00a0We are in the process of hiring staff and setting up the physical space of the school so our responses may be slow at this time.<\/p>\n Stay tuned for more!
